Rhiannon Moore

Born and raised in southwest Missouri I spent many hours of my youth camping, swimming, cooking fish over an open fire, and exploring the natural world that surrounded me. My older brother and I were like two peas in a pod, we went and did everything together, and we found ourselves in trouble more than once.

I have always been drawn to the things of the fantasy world, but it wasn't until I was in junior high that I began to want to write. I was, however, a child with a learning disability. I ran into plenty of people over the years who were all too ready to tell me how I couldn't be a writer unless I was like this or that. Writing had become my passion, and I wasn't going to let their words of discouragement keep me from it.

I started writing my first book in 8th grade. After several major revisions and about a decade, I finished my first book, "Hunt for the Radiant Queen". It was a huge milestone, after which I started completing my books in about a year (A huge timeline improvement). In March of 2011, I married the love of my life, my Husband Bryan. He has been my biggest supporter and acts as the first critic who gets to view my writing. I now live happily with him, our 6 year old son, and our 1 year old daughter in southwest Missouri.
